Galway await Healy fate

April 11, 2014
The Galway senior footballers are awaiting what punishment goalkeeper Tom Healy will receive following his sending off against Monaghan.

Healy was involved in an altercation with Monaghan corner forward and the Galway goalkeeper was red carded after referee Anthony Nolan had consulted with his linesman Padraig Hughes.

Depending on what Healy was sent off for, he looks set to miss the opening round of the Connacht SFC against London and maybe their next game also.

However, Galway are of the opinion that they have a case to defend Healy and it looks as if they will appeal the decision.
