Great to see Cavan proudly sitting on top of division one (alphabetical order) moving into 2017!!

Who do people think will come up and down? Maybe its a bit early but sure what else have we to be at!
Here are my predictions in order of top to bottom;

Div 1 - Dublin, Tyrone, Kerry, Donegal, Mayo, Cavan, Roscommon, Monaghan - Dublin to win it out

Div 2 - Cork, Galway, Derry, Down, Fermanagh, Kildare, Meath, Clare - Cork to win it out

Div 3 - Armagh, Tipp, Longford, Laois, Antrim, Offaly, Sligo, Louth - Tipp to win it out.

Div 4 - Westmeath, Limerick, Wexford, London, Waterford, Wicklow, Leitrim, Carlow - Limerick to win it out

I love how you snuck us in there above Ros and Mon - I'd take that!!

Can't see past Dublin winning it again.

I don't think it'll be as clear cut for Cork in Division 2 unless they clean up their act. I'd be almost certain Meath won't get relegated and I'd actually fancy them to push for promotion.

Tipp are better than Armagh IMO and should top Division 3, but think you've got Div 3 and 4 pretty much spot on apart from Carlow who are better than a couple of teams in div 4.

Div 1
Dublin, Donegal, Kerry, Tyrone, Mayo, Monaghan, Cavan, Roscommon Dublin winners

Sorry lads, I do like Cavan. It's stiff competition though.

Div 2
Galway, Meath, Fermanagh, Cork, Kildare, Derry, Down, Clare Meath to win it

Down and Cork really need to sort themselves out, it's a really tight division, I'd be surprised if Galway and Fermanagh didn't both challenge for promotion. Other than that anything could happen.

Div 3
Tipp, Longford, Laois, Armagh, Sligo, Offaly, Louth, Antrim Tipp to win

Longford I feel are well improved over the last few years. Very nearly got promoted last year and best Monaghan in the championship. I think the Ulster teams right now are a little overrated. Don't see Armagh getting out of the division. I hope I'm wrong but I think we're comfortably the weakest team in the division. The management play the worst kind of puke football. I don't see us improving with them at the helm.

Division 4
Westmeath, Wexford, Limerick, Wicklow, Leitrim, Carlow, London, Waterford Wexford to win

This is a poor division. The top 3 will best the other 5 handy enough.

Hopefully Dublin play some of the lads on the fringes of the squad and give some of the marquee players a well deserved break, plenty of lads in their early 20s and younger who would benefit from league games. Really looking forward to the Tyrone game, as a team on the up we havn't come across since their latest reincarnation.

You couldn't begrudge Mayo (unless they are playing Dub;in) some success so hope they go well in the league. Donegal seem like a good bunch of lads and not fr away so i think they could do well.

Be interesting to see some of the Kerry child superstars and see can they begin to fulfill the path of the hope and expectation, the calls on retirement strike me as weird in terms of planning for the management team, its getting late in the day with many counties already down the road of plans for the fothcoming season.

As long as we keep in Division 1, keep injury free, manage to blood a few of the young lads coming through, create options for 3-4 positions that we need and have a reasonably settled team by May, I'll be happy.

The League is what it is, grand to win but not worth losing any sleep over if you don't. However it is 2009 since our last title so if Kerry can hit the ground running and gain a bit of momentum I don't see why we can't push for it.

I think Tyrone are a good call for the League. Will come motivated and use the league as a springboard.

They will have a right good pop at Dublin for sure as they try to build for the summer.

Depends on Gavin's plans and strategy for the League as well.

But I go Tryone

I think Mayo should really target the league. It would prove to them that they could win a national title. Hope to see them do well
As a Meath man I think it is mad to see the difference in opinion. Multiple people said promotion and other said relegation. Suppose with a new manager it's up in the air

I think there will be a big chasm between the top 4 and bottom 4 in Div 1 this year. I can't see Donegal Cavan Roscommon or Monaghan taking points off any of the other 4. Donegal will be in the bottom half by virtue of the fact that Rory Gallagher says he will be blooding young lads and leaving the older lads off for a while yet. This may be risky in the short term but I think is a good long term approach and I expect to see Donegal playing into August.

I think Division two will be a procession for Galway and Cork with only Fermanagh troubling them. Clare may find the going a bit tough and Kildare Meath and Down are all in periods of transition. Clare plus one of those 3 to go down for me. Derry should be ok to survive but being without their club players might mean they will miss out on the top spots.

In Kildare McGeeney didn't place massive emphasis on the league until his later years. He needs it this year to save his job. Should hit the ground running and be around the top four with Laois Tipp and the slowly improving Offaly. If Rhode win Sunday, Offaly may struggle without McNamee and the likes in Spring however. I'd expect Sligo/Antrim/Louth to fill the two relegation berths.

Westmeath and a Banty led Wexford should have enough to get themselves out of the division.

Dublin again for me...

I think Cavan and Rossies will be relegated..

In Dv2 I actually think Fermanagh will get promoted along with Galway.

Kildare and Down to be relegated.

All depends how teams treat the League look at Roscommon last season, they were flying in the League and come championship time they completely flopped. Dublin will win the League as the other 7 teams in the division will be blooding new players and trying to avoid relegation, the lower Leagues will be the same, a few teams interested in pushing their county forward like Tipp and Clare will be aiming for promotions but I'm afraid most treat it as challenge matches
