Well done to Carlow ladies.

I have a soft spot for Carlow since Eire Og were robbed in the club final against Nemo Rangers some years ago.
Yes I know where the ref was from.

Nemo Rangers have never played Eire Og from Carlow in a competitive match. Well done on remembering the ref in that imaginary match though!!

Indeed, well done to the carlow camogie team. They came from the brink of extinction.

O'Donovan Rossa Skibbereeen I'm pretty sure. That club suffered it's tragedies too. Mick McCarthy of that club and Cork county footballers died tragically in a road accident.

But yes Eire óg were unlucky alright in the drawn game and replay.

Thanks for putting me right. How did I ever forget that O.Donovan Rossa beat Lavey in the famous semi-final"battle"

O Donovan Rossa had some great players, including as you say Mick Mc Carthy RIP.

No problem. O'Donovan Rossa rode their luck from what I remember. They were 33/1 to win the Cork championship that year. The AI final was bonus territory for them. It's history now and they won.
