After Roscommon poor showing in the last 3 games I'm wondering is the GAA season too long? If teams push for League success will they suffer come championship time, I still believe the championship could be shortened, Roscommon began their Connacht champ on the May bank holiday in New York 3 months later we haven't played the All Ireland quarter finals yet. Provincial championships could be played within 5 to 7 weeks. From the 1st League game until All Ireland Final it's over 7 and a half months to play around 12-15 games

Yeah it's really stupid.

What's worse is a number of counties, (including no hopers) put club football on hold until the county season is over.
