I'd imagine so.

The stadium will be empty until the soccer is over so they can make the same call on the day as they do when there's traffic issues.

Why werent both games originally set for Saturday? Most fans travelling hate Sunday games.

Interesting question. Here is hoping, I'd take extra time now if it was offered.
Spare a thought for westmeath and Kildare players in all of this though

Are you serious about travelling fans hating Sunday games? I can only speak for myself and my mates but we find Saturday games an awful inconvenience as all of us work on that day.

I way prefer Saturday games have few scoops after and not have worry about work next day.

I'd have to say the same. .

But can I ask. .

Why the hell aren't the Mondays after the hurling and football All-Ireland Finals Bank Holidays??? Productivity must be low on those days anyway - they're bloody Mondays!

They're showing it on the big screen in Croker so it shouldn't be a big deal either way.

I'd love if they shortened the season so that the final was on the August bank holiday.

It then leaves more time for club championship.

They're showing the second half only.

If it goes to extra time the game will go ahead at 4.15 and anyone who wants to watch Ireland there will be screens at the back of the stands
