1910 All Ireland Final.

Louth were due to play Kerry. Kerry refused to travel because the train company at that time would not sell tickets to the Kerry fans at reduced rates. Louth received a walk over and Louth won their first ever all Ireland. Rumor at that time was that the Kerry lads were afraid of the Wee man from County Louth.

The official end of the world as we know it - the Sean Cavanagh tackle - the end of innocence and beautiful football played with total adherence to the rules for over a century - well spotted by Brolly and his SG cheerleaders :-)

Also talking about 1995 - Charlie Redmond sent off and stayed on pitch and then only after the referee noticed he was still playing was then ordered off - what a fiasco that was.

The fact Dublin made it rain in Croker in 2015, Kerry would have won on a dry day...haha

Kerry playing Tipp in a Munster Semi Final around 2001-03
Jerry Murphy making his kerry debut at corner forward missed an absolute sitter, hitting the side netting from about 4 yards. Ball went through the side of the net and into the back of the goal. Umpire had to practically jumped out of the way of the ball. But he leans down and picks up the green flag and gives the goal! Tipp could have caused an upset that day but for the goal.

Almost 20 years now since the Meath fatwa was declared! Anyone from Cork, Kerry or Dublin might get a bit of jibing from Mayo people but I think some Mayo people still have animosity towards anyone from Meath. All over two games where we played lovely football but Meath showed us that scoring at the crucial moments is what counts.

A lot of Mayo people seem to forget that it was Anthony Finnerty started that row and it was Pat McEnaney that sent Liam McHale off and not any of the Meath lads so ye might want to direct your fatwa elsewhere!!!!
