If Galway dont win it Id be only too happy to see a county like Waterford do the job.
Hurling is a very tough sport, but Im not sure how strong alot of these players are mentally.
Sometimes is seems that the mere sight of a black and amber jersey seems to be enough to knock the stuffing out of most other inter county players and I get the feeling that no matter how good Waterford are, a game against the cats will see them retreat into their shells.
Should be an intriguing Munster final though, whoever they play.

Indeed great hurling county and would love them to win LIAM. I recall John Mullane speaking a few years ago, in a very understanding and non patronising way, about the difficulties of Antrim and Ulster hurling. They have a bit of steel about them now which could see them go far.

John Mullane. What a player he was too by the way.

I think Waterford have a great chance of winning theAI,they have a good young team, wellable to take scores,I think their biggest danger will be Tipp this year, not Kk,I dont think this team have any fear of KK and if as I think we wont win it I hope Waterford do

2007 was a brilliant chance for them, but Limerick laid their ambush on a wild and wet day.Was rooting for Clare today but hope the Desie can go all the way this year , a serious team and let's be frank the Cats are a shadow of former glories and need a team with the balls to kick them down the stairs!
