as we are half way through the decade I thought this could be interesting what do people think have been the best games of the decade thus far?
mine are as follows
1. Dublin v Kerry 2013 best game I have ever been at/seen
2. Kerry v mayo replay 2014 had everything!
3. Westmeath v meath 2015
4. Kerry v mayo first game 2014
5. mayo v Dublin first game 2015
6. Donegal v Dublin 2014
7. cork v Dublin 2010
8.mayo v Dublin 2012
9. Dublin v Kerry 2011
10. Dublin v Donegal 2011 controversial I know but I enjoyed it from the upper cusack fascinating

I'd put Cork v Kerry 2014 Munster final there, just for Declan O'Sullivan's performance that day.

Never seen the likes of it, amazing.

Super Donegal game but to be fair yous had it wrapped up well before the end so I wouldn't have it up there as one of the best games of the decade.

One of the best performances from a team alright but probably not the best game as it was well over before the end.

Dublin v Kerry - 2013
Dublin v Kerry - 2011 (mainly for those epic last 7 minutes! - up until then it had been a decent of not spectacular game)
Mayo v Dublin - 2012
Dublin v Mayo - 2015 (drawn game)
Mayo v Kerry - 2014 (both games but particularly the bonkers game down in Limerick!)
Westmeath v Meath - 2015 (one of my favourite ever Croke Park days not supporting the Dubs)
Donegal v Kildare - 2011 (Cassidy's last minute wonder point!)
Kildare v Down - 2010

There just a few from the top of my head. I know Cork and Kerry have probably had some great games in Munster but those games tend to blend into one and it's hard to distinguish them from year to year. They never stand out.

In all fairness that was a great game of football for the first 70 mins. Louth missed three first half chances for goals, Louth started well and then Meath came back into match. Meath were leading 0-08 to 0-05 points at half-time. Then Meath did not score for the first 17 mins of the second half and Louth were leading 0-09 to 0-08. Colm Judge got send off for Louth, JP Rooney scored a great goal for Louth and what about Paddy the great Keenans fab block near the end before that incident. It was really a heroic effort from the Wee County.

On that point MesAmis, the Munster final replay in PUC in 2010 should be up there, went to extra time and Kerry just squeezed through with a monster point from Marc O'Se.

Definitely the best Cork/Kerry game of the past 6 years.

Cork v Dublin 2010 was great game as well.

Monaghan v Kildare in 2014, was pretty tasty as well.

Yeah Championship Cork/Kerry games in the Park or Killarney tend to be quite good but it can be hard to differentiate between them after awhile! And I've been to most of them with the in laws!!!

Agree with Cork/Dubs 2010 and Monaghan/Kildare 2014. Very good games.
