Pat's interview on Rte radio yesterday was first class. It contained all the excitement you experience when your club wins silverware but also the fear you have in rural Ireland when you know your best players (or maybe all your players) will be moving away in a few years. He may have been annoying at times in the past but yesterday as he said ''it's what the GAA is all about''. A club that does a round trip of 160 miles knowing they will be hammered deserves great praise when they do win a Munster title. Well done to them and to Pat who must have raised spirits in many small clubs and counties yesterday.
