This is a terrible story if true (which it looks like it is). For a referee to be hit like this is inexcusable and must surely be dealt with in the strictly punishment possible for all at fault. No referee goes out to do a team out of a decision such as the last minute goal in the St. Brigids Vs St. Finbarrs game and I'm sure the referee was calling it in the best way he deemed within the rules of the game. Shocking stuff and a very sad story for the GAA
