I played gaa in 3 different provinces and was s***e in all of them. Did score a goal against a former Man U and Ireland goalkeeper in a soccer match one time tho'. The fact he was touching 50 at that stage does not dim my sense of achievement.

I couldn't make the second team in the club at home so took up the rugby for something to do. Played against Pete Finnerty twice, he was the Tuam captain.That was as close as I got to All Ireland glory !
