Terminology of Gaelic Football

(Oldest Posts First)

It is all offloads, transitions, blankets, breakdowns, sweepers, plays, quarters, phases and numbers of possessions these days. I mean jayus....all put in to make the pundit sound intelligent.

It was was better when we had the old reliable like fracas, schmozzles, high fielding, and the word intensity bandied about a fair bit.

Are there any more new modern GAA football words and what are your favourite ones/least favorite?
