Holy God lads this is some final day for the round robin. Antrim going down by the looks of it. Great game with laois and Westmeath too

I had predicted a Carlow win. Antrim are so unpredictable. Looks like Westmeath Hurling is on the rise too despite the loss.

Westmeath got Wexford in Wexford park...Wexford are favorites but westmeath will give them a run for their money...full back doyle and center back Clarke would walk onto most teams.
Laois got Offaly in portlaous...I expect laois...they are a coming team offaly look to b on the way down for a while and could be gone from the top ten for a while.

Phew!I was sweating on Laois for a few bob.Aghhh i can relax now.Laois will fancy their chances at home v Offaly.Westmeath are improving steadily, but asking them to beat Wexford in Wexford Park is a tall order.

A very disappointing loss for Westmeath. This was a game we should have won and we expected to win to get a home game against Offaly. Fingers crossed the lads can give Wexford a rattle.

Sad day indeed for Antrim hurling. Has the venue for Westmeath v Wexford been confirmed as I thought initially it would be Wexford Park, but I see elsewhere it's down for Cusack Park??

Westmeath Vs Wexford is in Cusack Park Mullingar.

I can't credit our lads enough. A very tough year on them and a lot of players left the panel throughout the year and lost their last 4 matches by 3 points or less (Kerry by 1, Westmeath by 1 and 2 and Laois by 3) and they got the win when it was sink or swim. I was getting excited when Westmeath were beating Laois but I am delighted that we will be hurling in the Liam McCarthy next year.

That Westmeath team if they keep onto Michael Ryan and Michael Walsh will improve seriously in the next couple of years. The likes of Tommy Doyle, Shane Power, Aonghus Clarke, Niall O'Brien, Derek McNicholas and Alan Devine are hurling superbly and I would love to see them cause a shock against Wexford.

Hard to know where Antrim go from here. They will obviously change their management team but if they don't get back up within a year it's going to be very tough to keep lads going. Hoping they're not down for too long.
