O'Neills Factory Shop

(Oldest Posts First)

I assume many people on this forum have been there but is it worth a visit and what type of jerseys and condition of jerseys would you get there?

I was there on Sunday in the one in strabane, Good shop with loads on choice, every jersey you can Imagine, with some good bargains but with the very strong sterling pound now is not as good as it used to be....

It's a while since I ordered anything from them, but the quality of anything I ever got from them was excellent. For instance I am just about to throw out an O'Neill's tracksuit bottoms. I have had them 10 years plus. Can't argue with that.

I was in the Strabane shop last year, and they do have a extensive range of GAA Jerseys and all round gear. They had bargain rails too, with damaged gear ( I couldn't see any flaw's ) going really cheap. Excellent range from most other counties, Ideal for some training tops or casual wearing.

The only thing that I found a little annoying, was that the in shop Jerseys are limited to XXL while the website offers much larger sizes. The factory is directly across the street from the shop, and yet the girl told me to go home and order online.

Have bought online off them too.

The leisurewear is excellent & very handy for heading to the GAA pitch, track suits, tops, shirts, fleeces. I found their online customer service excellent too - I ordered an item once but it had gone out of stock. They phoned me & offered me a discount on any similar item. Dead sound.

Would definitely recommend based on the online experience.

Actually didn't know there was 1 in Strabane! But the 1 in Dublin (just around the corner from the Walkinstown roundabout) is excellent. You will get the full range of current county jerseys (no bargain to be had on these tho).

They sell older jerseys, some as cheap as €5 depending on size etc.

They have good Irish and Leinster rugby gear in stock too and thinks like basketball gear, swimming gear, etc.

Well worth a visit!

Yes the factory is in Strabane, and the Factory shop is opposite it in the Industrial estate. It is located on the Omagh/Dublin side of Strabane, literally near the first roundabout entering Strabane from Sion Mills/Omagh/Dublin on the A5/N2.

It's exactly the same as every other O'Neill's shop that I have ever been in. I went to it once expecting there to be loads of seconds with maybe a few stitches out of place etc, however the 'bargain section' was the same as in Newry etc, just rails of incredibly old and outdated jerseys - I found one from my old school which was last used before I went there! If you don't live near an O'Neill's shop then it's worth going in, but I definitely wouldn't go to Strabane just for that. And just so you know, you can't buy personalised jerseys in store (so no player fit jerseys etc) as they have to be ordered in, all you'll get are a few jerseys with numbers if you're lucky.
