Who will win it? With UUJ goneIi think its very open and hard to see past UCC or DCU. I think NUIG could be dark horses this year. Also good to see GMIT get through and personally I hope they make the semi final cornynsah (Donegal) - Posts: 12 - 05/02/2015 09:41:37 1690276 Link 0 |

Two universities kicked out of the Sigerson due to playing illegal players. This along with the Andrew Shore incident shows the disregard some clubs/managers have for the rules. What ban, if any will be given to the players or secretaries etc seen as Shore received 48 weeks frankbhoy77 (Antrim) - Posts: 1300 - 05/02/2015 16:52:31 1690453 Link 0 |

Sean Boylan . What a man. A genius is too small a word for him, so is a god, but to us in Meath that's exactly what he is. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 05/02/2015 19:58:41 1690531 Link 0 |
The Smith brothers Enda,Donie and Conor Daly performing very well for DCU, expected as all three are great talents with huge potential. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 3756 - 05/02/2015 20:08:05 1690536 Link 0 |
Well well well, so Sligo IT get thrown out for fielding an ineligible player and Queens don't get to replace them in the competition given they had also fielded ineligible players. DCU through without breaking sweat. Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 06/02/2015 11:36:41 1690658 Link 0 |
Did Charlie Vernon not play for queens in the sigerson when he was there SU president? Poor showing from Queens. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 07/02/2015 16:22:53 1690926 Link 0 |
Were the 3 Stranmillis lads new to the Queens team this year or have they been involved prior? Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 07/02/2015 17:01:05 1690933 Link 0 |
GMIT will be under pressure to qualify for semi finals especially if missing their 3 Corofin players who accounted for 6 of their 9 points in last round fairplay4ever (Galway) - Posts: 415 - 07/02/2015 20:58:38 1691003 Link 0 |
No shame on Queens after all gotmilk. In fact, from reading the article what I don't get is that Queens didn't play any ineligible players due to a previous ruling a number of years back but it seems that a couple of years back there was a decision not to allow sabbatical roles to play. How then did Sligo IT get reinstated or what am I missing here. Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 11/02/2015 18:14:15 1692609 Link 0 |
Well done to the five Roscommon starters on DCU team that have progressed to Sigerson cup final T Lowe,C Daly,F Kelly,D Smith and match winning performance from E Smith. Hard luck to T Featherston on his semi final loss with Carlow IT. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 3756 - 20/02/2015 18:51:20 1695392 Link 0 |
This is an atrocious game between DCU and UCC, three times as many wides as scores. Passing isvwoegious, the only redeeming fact is its a 60 min match. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4896 - 21/02/2015 16:05:20 1695504 Link 0 |
