FairPlay to the BBC

(Oldest Posts First)

We often have numerous threads on here slating Rtes coverage/lack of coverage but what about a bit of praise for the BBC showing coverage of tomorrow nights McKenna cup final.Whilst the bbc may not have shown any of the recent hurling/final football finals they do devote a lot of time to Gaa in Ulster covering the Ulster championship in Full and devoting airtime on their sports bulletins showing clips and interviews of club championship, McKenna cup and National Legaue games much of which Rte has been criticised for.

credit due indeed. similar attendace at the meath v dublin and armagh v tyrone semi final. yet your final goes on tv but ours doesn't. pretty much sums up the lack of coverage.

Surprised to see them cover the McKenna cup final when they couldn't even show several Ulster championship matches live last year. I wonder did they get green eyes when they saw how Sky embraced our games last summer..
