Great to see IT Carlow winning the Higher Education Division 1 League.

I know there's a heavy Kilkenny involvement but the team was backboned by guys from Carlow and Laois with players from Meath, Kerry and Westmeath thrown in and a healthy Wexford and Offaly contingent. UCC had guys like Conor Lehane, Shane O Donnell, Alan Cadogan came off the bench, they'd a couple of Waterford guys and Mike Breen who was on the Tipp panel this year at full back.

So great to see lads from the counties above putting one over their more illustrious rivals!

3.18 of the total of 3.21 was scored by 2 Offaly men, a Laois man, Meath man and a Carlow man...Doesn't look like Kilkenny lads were doing much carrying there!
