5. Cork
6. Monaghan
7. Galway
8. Armagh

9. Kildare

Firstly I agree with athacliatha. After 1 no one cares
But I'll indulge you legend. You say dubs shouldn't be second as they were beat by Donegal? Then you go and contradict yourself by putting Meath behind Kildare, Meath who beat Kildare with a fair bit to spare in Leinster. And its not as if Kildare reached any further , as both counties lost in- last 12 . Also Kildare were beat by Monaghan who themselves were comprehensive beat by dubs , Meath lost to armagh who in turn ran the said Donegal team close in quarters.
See what im getting at?

exactly royaldunne
he also to make it worse wants kerry moved up in hurling on their league performance
yet basically disregards the league when it comes to football probably because dublin won it
and it dont suit his arguement

I wouldn't place any emphasis on the rankings at all. Winter is coming. We'll winter well. Ciarraí abú!

Good Man Athclaith I'm yet to meet a Dub who isint confident about beating Kerry.

Sure if 2014 is proof of anything is that the capital shouldn't be so dismissive of there opposition.
Don't worry about Kerry you have June/July/August to get through first. ( As do we )

If you were ranking cynical teams the Kerry region would be top of the pile

Anyone that thinks that Tyrone are the 17th ranked team in the country and Derry 25th (both Div 1) shouldn't be taken seriously and you would have to wonder as to their knowledge of the game. Also being No 1 is not all that counts, rather aspiring to be is. No team ever stays at No 1, every generation of players should be treated the same by their true supporters.

All this is just harmless winter talk.

Steps of the Hogan Stand in Sept is the only time that matters.

He had a kerryman playing a blanket defence which wasn't playing to our strength.it hard to compete with the big fish like yourself who much more resources or players giving up professional sport.Beating ye in 2006 minor final was been highlight in last 10 years

How Mayo can be fourth after coming so close to killing off the eventual All Ireland champions with 14 men is a bit head scratching. Think they'll be back to ruffle a few feathers again next year.

What are rankings based on?

Between league and championship games February-September. Rankings should be based on season rather than a couple games. Would Kerry be ranked no 1 had Mayo closed out both semi final games and Paul Durcan handing them the winning goal. Donegal and Dublin were top 2 teams with Donegal shading it as beat Dubs on head to head

Donegal played 14 Won 10 Draw 1 Lost 3 71% winning ratio=22 points
Dublin played 14 Won 10 Draw 1 Lost 3 71% winning ratio=22 points
Kerry played played 13 Won 8 Draw 1 Lost 4 62% winning ratio=17 points
Mayo played 13 Won 7 Draw 2 Lost 4 54% winning ratio=16 points

Handymoran - A minor final 8 years ago is your highlight?

What have Kerry done to you for such bitterness ?
Those it just boil down pure jealousy?

Handymoran, you've several threads started regarding Kerry.
Man you must have little to be doing with yourself.
I noticed you've no post on the Roscommon page.

You've either zero interest in Roscommon or your not a rossie at all.

Just on here to wind lads up...

I agree and if we are lucky enough to get a crack at the Kerry blanket team i think we will be better prepared for your blanket defence than we were for Donegals. .
