I never bet on my own team but I'm kicking myself for not backing a Donegal v Kerry final.
I fear we are looking at a repeat of 2012. Kerry are very much a team in transition. A bit like Mayo in '12, the final is at least a year too soon. Donegal on the otherhand are ready for it and are quite rightly the clear favourites. There cannot be any qualms about it. The Donegal lads I know are a gas bunch and good craic. It'll be a good build up and an interesting battle I'm sure. We are where we are and we are aware of it. Look it's great to be in the final anyways and giving ourselves a good chance. Donegal I fear though have the momentum. We've all said the team that beats Dublin will win the All-Ireland. Donegal, unfortunately for us, seem halfway there now.
