Really looking forward to this one. I have been very impressed with Limerick in spells during the year. Again while they hurled very well in the first half v Galway they relented in the second half. Be great to see them hurl for the full 70 mins which I think they will have to do v Kilkenny. This Kilkenny minor team have improved no end from last April and it has the makings of a great final. I know with minors its hard to know whether nerves etc will take over a team but on the basis that IF neither team will be overly awed by the occasion I am anticipating a cracker of a match.

Kilkenny wer'nt on song at the start of the playoff stages of the Leinster championship, but they picked it up big time and won easly in the end. Limerick are having a second great year at minor level, they were a bit unlucky not to at least reach the final last year, and if they play to their potental i think they will win the final.

Limerick should win this but don't expect much to be in it. Kilkenny have come a long way since scoring only 3 points in 60 mins against the Dubs back in start of the championship.

This looks a close one for me,Limk were outstanding v galway and I know people will say that there's never a bad galway team underage but I don't know about that one, I think we have exceptional forwards but backs not too hot.Will the limk manager shore up the full back line?he had c lynch roaming around the field the last day and I can see where he;s coming from with that but it does take a lot from our attacking options.All in all we'r going into this one with great hope prob the 2 best teams at this level in the country it might turn out to be a shoot out.

I haven't seen kk to be honest and can only go on the few minutes i saw in their semi v waterford and heard they were lucky to win that one as we were v waterford so this should be a close one,Two kk teams contested the colleges final having beaten 2 limerick colleges in the semi finals,will that be any issue on sunday?how many from the 2 teams had players playing in those colleges semi finals?regarding the limerick teams from ard scoil you had cian and r lynch i know peter casey would have played but think he was injured for the college semi final was there more?i'm not sure of how many doon had.What about the kk boys? anyone out there know?

Some poster writing in the Dublin page before the Leinster minor hurling final, mentioned that there were nine or ten players on the Kilkenny team that played in the Collages final.
