I know it's something that's talked about time and again but today's matches should have been played as single headliners, and to give the home advantage to the provincial winners. There's more than a little lacking from the atmosphere of a double header. Gavvygavgav (Dublin) - Posts: 382 - 03/08/2014 20:01:04 1630908 Link 0 |
Agree with you on this, most people will only watch at best half of the other game thats on. It seems to be a ploy to keep Croke park busy but if the figures thrown around that it needs in the region of 35,000 to break even are accurate it looses money on most of them. lillyboy (Kildare) - Posts: 429 - 04/08/2014 11:58:56 1631112 Link 0 |

Agreed, but then Croker would be rarely used across the year. 222 (UK) - Posts: 693 - 04/08/2014 13:17:06 1631189 Link 0 |

Galway v Kerry could have been played in Ennis. 12k stadium would have sufficed for that lame support and stadium in between both counties shaggykev (Donegal) - Posts: 189 - 04/08/2014 14:36:34 1631245 Link 0 |
