Antrim v Offaly
Waterford v Laois
Tipperary v Kilkenny/Galway
Clare v Wexford

Tough game for my own County but would have to fancy us at home. Tipperary v KK/Galway is a terrible draw for all 3. It gives Galway/KK that extra incentive not to lose the replay. Antrim and Offaly should be a good battle as well. Waterford will have their work cut out against the rejuvenated Laois.

I'd prob go with home wins for all 4. Think tipp will be ok at home especially since their opponents will have been knocked out the week before.

Of away teams wexford n Offaly should have best chance

Home wins across the board for me.

Gutted that we didnt get a home draw, really think we would have had a right cut of anyone in the park but away to Clare is probably as difficult a draw we could get.

We almost caught Clare on the hop last summer and cant see Davy allowing that again, throw in home advantage, a Clare team seeking redemption following the Cork game and our terrible record against Clare in recent years and it looks a tall order for us.

Tipp arent good enough to beat either Kilkenny or Galway. Both are big physical teams who also have some awesome scoring power.

Another short summer looms for Tipp and Eamon O'Shea im afraid will still be looking for his first championship win or any win of real significance.

Of the rest......

Clare will beat Wexford
Antrim will beat Offaly
Laois might just pip Waterford

Home wins across the board for me

Someone please explain to me how it was fair for the 3 Munster teams to be drawn out 1st i.e it was impossible for Waterford,Clare and Tipperary to be drawn away and once Antrim/Offaly was drawn out of the hat that Wexford,Laois,Kilkenny/galway were all automatically drawn for an away game

I was trying to figure out that element of the draw, it seemed that all Munster team were guaranteed a home draw??

Either way i expect a lot of talk about a tough draw for Clare, emerging wexford team, ran us close last year etc etc when in reality there will be a lot of hand wringing behind the scenes?

I presume Antrim couldn't draw Laois or Wexford as they've already played them, and presumably Laois then couldn't draw Galway.

That more or less made is a Leinster losers vrs Munster losers other than the Antrim Offaly game which Kevin Ryan will fancy a crack at I'm sure.

some pressure on the two teams this weekend not to lose the replay now given what awaits them in the qualifiers.

I think Antrim just got the draw they were hoping for? Home and against Offaly. No dis-respect to them but Offaly are the draw everyone would have wanted.

Why are Clare at home when they played in Thurles last year? Would have fancied Wexford at a neutral venue.

As far as I know there was a team drawn out of each pot and put into another pot. Then the team drawn out 1st from the 2nd pot got home draw. Just a coincidence??? that all Leinster teams got drawn away. Tough draw for us but the lads will be under absolutely no pressure (we will be hoping that the Clare players are satisfied with last years medal) and we can pull off a shock.

I think the draw has to be redone. Simply not fair that all the Munster teams were drawn out first. There were three separate pots = munster teams (3), leinster teams (3) and Antrim /Laois. Antrim were drawn out first against a leinster team (offaly). After that the 3 munster teams were drawn first automatically giving them a home advantage. Not fair! Each of the fixtures should have a toss of coin to determine home advantage.

Offaly are not as bad as that result against Kilkenny and they will fancy their chances against the Ulster men. Its the draw Offaly must have prayed for even though they have to travel up north. Antrim strung four wins in a row in the qualifiers and they got no credit what so even for beating Laois in Portlaoise even in defeat Laois got all the Credit. This is a great chance for both Antrim and Offaly listed 11th and 12th in the county listings to get to the quarter finals.

As far as I know the team from each pot was put in a separate pot to determine home advantage. Just luck after that.
Good draw for Laois. Won't have any fear travelling to the Deise.
As for Offaly/ Antrim its a coin toss. Home advantage might edge it for Antrim but Offaly are due at least one good performance this year. Aren't they???

Can't believe Wexford are being written off so badly. Given the success of their underage teams and the obvious growth in coaching and skill levels in the county I think in that game Wexford could provide an upset.

Previously I thought it a nailed on Kilkenny v Clare all Ireland final but given how the games have gone to date Wexford knocking Clare out would not surprise me.

No complaints if they had rules in place around a second draw for home advantage.
They should implement though a rule where in the championship for alternative years the either team plays home and away.
If there is a neutral ground them obviously this is ignored. I know some counties already have similar agreements.
It should be done though based on the different competition (I.e. championship fixtures should be alternative between the teams and then league fixtures should have a similar separate agreement). Other games outside of this probably should just be agreed as they go.
