Roscommon were very impressive today. 1pt margin didn't do them justice they were much the better footballing team 3 soft goals kept cork in it. jacktheDub (Dublin) - Posts: 944 - 19/04/2014 20:50:38 1577321 Link 0 |

Was impressed with the lovely open style of football played by the Rossies today.Really should have won far more comfortably. If Dublin play like they did today they wont stand a chance. However i would expect a big improvement.Rossies favourites after today but anything can happen in a final, and being Dubs, well always fancy our chances. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 19/04/2014 21:05:31 1577347 Link 0 |
Apart from the Carlow joke of a game jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 19/04/2014 21:05:41 1577348 Link 0 |
Should be a very open game. Hard to see Dublin being so wasteful in front of goal the next day, that Roscommon defence was cut open pretty easily today by an ordinary enough Cork attack so anyone saying Roscommon are hot favourites are foolish. Will be a close game. Breffni Park maybe? GallantJohnJoe (Cavan) - Posts: 329 - 19/04/2014 21:09:00 1577353 Link 0 |

Roscommon outstanding today it was never a one point game , they'll go in as favourites they play defensive but nothing like Cavan so I'm hoping Mannion and Costello have more room to do there thing, it should be a cracker and hopefully a Dublin win of course. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 19/04/2014 21:24:14 1577376 Link 0 |
Paddy Power has it evens for both teams. I think we have a better team to the team that played Dublin in 2012 AI final and this Dublin team not as intimidating as 2012 side. Have we enough to make up the 7 point gap ? Think the evens is fair enough. facethepuckout (Roscommon) - Posts: 214 - 19/04/2014 21:51:31 1577402 Link 0 |
I will go with Dublin on this one, even after the poor performances against Meath and Roscommon. witnof (Dublin) - Posts: 1604 - 20/04/2014 09:53:53 1577437 Link 0 |
If Dublin are as poor as they were yesterday that Roscommon full forward line will make hay imo. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13707 - 20/04/2014 10:23:16 1577457 Link 0 |
Very, very surprised that Paddy Power has both teams at evens for this one. I can't see Dublin playing as poorly again and Roscommon will simply try to outgun them which could be the wrong tactic. If the Dublin attack clicks, they could win well. It'll be a high scoring game I'd imagine GallantJohnJoe (Cavan) - Posts: 329 - 20/04/2014 10:41:31 1577471 Link 0 |

Agreed , rosscommon should win this one I think by 2 points, only if they can keep out goals though ! bisto kid (Cavan) - Posts: 492 - 20/04/2014 11:20:13 1577504 Link 0 |
