I just want to know you're opinion on this and you're examples?

The Colosseum in Rome was probably more advanced than pairc ui chaoimh. Honestly not a safe place to go during a sell-out especially if you have your children with you.

Our county pitch, the Gaelic Grounds is a quality surface to play on, but the seating needs to be revamped. When empty it looks cold, dark and dreary.

I like the Gaelic grounds to be honest. Location isn't great but the open stand is modern.

As a pitch Navan is excellent but the grounds are very poor.

Hang on now Wanyo there isn't a thing wrong with Cusack park the majority of the year.. Ask any of the lads from Kerry that came up for the qualifier and they'll tell you how nice it is in the summer time.

It would be great if they could put seats in to Fitzgeralds stadium but they probably won't :-(

The Gaelic Grounds in Drogheda is the home pitch for the O'Rahilly's GAA Club.
It is not the Louth county pitch.
Louth do not have a county pitch.
The O'Rahilly's pitch in Drogheda is quite a good pitch for an Intermediate Club.

Ballybofey is very heavy this time of year. also the fact that about the first 8-10 rows of seats in the covered stand aren't covered says it all. Getting in and out can be a bit of a squeeze too if there is any sort of a crowd.

Outsider looking in my opinion on pitches and stadia around,

Kilkenny - Pitch is perfect, bar the "Old Stand" being partially covered a great stadium I think.
Thurles - Pitch perfect again, stands are both of good quality.
Wexford Park - Pitch is okay, stands good.
Dr Cullen - Not great on either side the fence
Portlaoise - Terrible pitch for hurling , great stand. Good atmosphere usually
Waterford - Coldest place on earth - good stand. Pitch isn't bad.

If thats the case fat boy then Monaghan don't have a county ground either as Clones clubs own it in partnership with the county board and the ulster council exactly like louth

Conleths park in newbridge Kildare is a dreadful setup, always thought pitch was desperate, cuts up easily and the corner up near the dressing rooms is raised up at an angle. Dressing rooms are also far too small.
