After playing at home to Dublin last year, it'll be very tough having to play them away this year.

Are there any double headers with the hurlers? Do ya think ye can beat 30,000 attendances consistently this year?

No double headers this year with our hurlers

I think the fact that they are all Saturday night games under lights is def more attractive

Some big games ahead

Kerry, Cork, Kildare and Mayo

It's up to everyone to fill the stadium at the end of the day

I don't think the Kerry game is being broadcast... could be wrong... but if not that will def attract a bigger crowd

Hopefully we'll decent Dub crowds... and that the opposition supporters travel to watch their county

Not easy though considering...

Some great games in Croker should catch the crowds at €40 and on Saturday night - Burgers/hot dogs, a beer (to hell with Crab claws) these are special nights I love them.

Dublin hurlers play Galway away on February 16th in Pearse Stadium. The Two big ones at parnell park, the current All-Ireland Champions Clare on 23rd Feb. Then Kilkenny in Parnell Park on March 15th. and remember folks Tickets cost JUST €10 if purchased in advance.

I think both codes will really benefit as standalone fixtures. All looking good.

One of the best initiatives the GAA have taken, great way to market the game and good value for money too.

I might tip up for the Dublin Kerry game. Would when the appetite nicely for our own campaign. Plus it's a freebie with the season ticket.

Brend......one of the great initiatives by the Dublin County Board, who have to fight every year it seems to keep in going. Brings in publicity and monies....but whisper it because Dublin are only about sucking money from the GAA.

Yeah... saw that in their press release

Fair play to them...I see they are taking the entire spring series

It'll impact on numbers though

But sure at least the games will be on air and will be hopefully enjoyed by all GAA fans at this time of the year

Give me Saturday night in the Neller any time. Love playing in Donnycarney with a packed house with great banter on the terrace, a tight pitch and HD action. To hell with this wide open expanse of Croker in the depths of winter where you can hear a pin drop during a goal mouth scramble.

Its difficult to say how it will go into the future and its very fixture dependent imo. The Down game IIRC was devoid of any atmosphere last year whilst others were pretty good. a 30,000 average is an achievable goal but it will take a promotional drive to keep it going. Into the future i'd like to see Meath and Kildare get more involved on a selective basis.

Hard to disagree with that!

Boys don't be going to Croker expecting a craker of a game next sat night , Dublin will win it handy enough. I think pat Spillane said we will be missing 10 players that played in the AI semi.

Don't worry Kingdomboy1 we won't be too near our first 15 either!
