After playing at home to Dublin last year, it'll be very tough having to play them away this year. doublehop (Kildare) - Posts: 4172 - 22/01/2014 09:55:26 1534998 Link 0 |
Are there any double headers with the hurlers? Do ya think ye can beat 30,000 attendances consistently this year? lukewalsh96 (Cork) - Posts: 252 - 22/01/2014 16:54:09 1535277 Link 0 |

Some great games in Croker should catch the crowds at €40 and on Saturday night - Burgers/hot dogs, a beer (to hell with Crab claws) these are special nights I love them. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4896 - 23/01/2014 10:20:09 1535485 Link 0 |
Think we will get good attendances Jimbo. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3733 - 23/01/2014 10:41:06 1535498 Link 0 |
One of the best initiatives the GAA have taken, great way to market the game and good value for money too. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 23/01/2014 10:49:31 1535504 Link 0 |

I might tip up for the Dublin Kerry game. Would when the appetite nicely for our own campaign. Plus it's a freebie with the season ticket. jackhackett (Meath) - Posts: 773 - 23/01/2014 19:15:22 1535866 Link 0 |
Good preparation games for the championship which is what it's about. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7846 - 24/01/2014 09:53:39 1536025 Link 0 |
Brend......one of the great initiatives by the Dublin County Board, who have to fight every year it seems to keep in going. Brings in publicity and monies....but whisper it because Dublin are only about sucking money from the GAA. witnof (Dublin) - Posts: 1604 - 24/01/2014 10:10:08 1536037 Link 0 |

Give me Saturday night in the Neller any time. Love playing in Donnycarney with a packed house with great banter on the terrace, a tight pitch and HD action. To hell with this wide open expanse of Croker in the depths of winter where you can hear a pin drop during a goal mouth scramble. Joxer (Dublin) - Posts: 4700 - 24/01/2014 20:34:12 1536311 Link 0 |
Its difficult to say how it will go into the future and its very fixture dependent imo. The Down game IIRC was devoid of any atmosphere last year whilst others were pretty good. a 30,000 average is an achievable goal but it will take a promotional drive to keep it going. Into the future i'd like to see Meath and Kildare get more involved on a selective basis. seany16 (Dublin) - Posts: 1658 - 24/01/2014 21:50:33 1536348 Link 0 |

Boys don't be going to Croker expecting a craker of a game next sat night , Dublin will win it handy enough. I think pat Spillane said we will be missing 10 players that played in the AI semi. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 25/01/2014 20:25:39 1536591 Link 0 |
Don't worry Kingdomboy1 we won't be too near our first 15 either! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8592 - 25/01/2014 20:52:23 1536603 Link 0 |
Ah that's good realdub , it might keep the score down hopefully. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 26/01/2014 16:25:59 1536768 Link 0 |
