(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

With the GAA Football season kicking off this weekend I thought I would open up this discussion so people can share their thoughts and maybe any inside information from any camps they are involved in.

Galway & Donegal seem the two best backed this afternoon in their games v Sligo & tyrone but a double only pays circa 11/10 ..not overly enticing bad weather etc

Have DCU/UCD double. DCU well ahead against Louth at half time.

I'd go for your first three but I think your own county Antrim will beat Cavan in Creggan. A few good lads back on board this year like McCann and McGourty and under a new management team they will be a good bet for Division 4.

Gaelicgab I agree with your thoughts on Antrim to win Division 4 I think they are worth a massive bet @ 2/1.

Todays 4 timer looking good to kick the season off with a bang

Handicap Double for tonight...

Meath v IT Carlow (Meath -5) 5/6
Dublin v Louth (Louth + 8) 10/11

20 euro double with boylesports pays 70 euro. I think a handicap of 8 points is a bit much especially as the Dublin Westmeath game was so tight. Louth were missing a few against DCU and should put up a good fight tonight considering the opposition. Any thoughts?

Ok on a roll here...my next selection!

Meath v DCU

DCU @ 3/1

Despite the fact we are in good form and scoring well, DCU done well to come back and beat Dublin when they were down by 6 points. They are also in good shape for the Sigerson. Mick O' Dowd has also said the main thing he was looking for in the latter stages is to reach the semi final so that we would be guaranteed at least 4 games. The anti climax of not having the Dubs in Navan could also be a factor.

70 euro returns 280
