Where's everyone meeting in Limerick for the match? Would be a good idea for all Meath supporters to meet in the same pub before hand Anyone familiar with Limerick got any suggestions?
Is there many people even going?

it's about a 2 and a half hour drive. Plenty of quality accomodation available for under 50 euro. There's a few of us staying in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotle. Not too far from the City Centre or the Gaelic Grounds. Should be a good game. If we sort our defensive frailties out we should win comfortably. Unfortunately Moyles and Reilly are out so I think it will be a lot closer than the Bookies would have you believe.

Group of over 10 of us staying in the Greenhills hotel beside the grounds, any decent watering holes near there? Would be good to get a bit of banter going before the game!

Nancy Blakes sounds like a plan. would be good if we can get a big crowd meeting before the game. Build an atmosphere to take into the game.

Look on the brightside, we've now got a weekend away down the country, on the beer cheering on the Mighty Royals and whats even better is if we win we'll get another weekend out of it. Can't wait for Saturday now

Any meath supports that think that they are going to get a handy win in limerick are very wrong. Cork we very very very lucky to get over limerick and look what cork did to kerry. Warning enough dont u think. Come on the farney army.

I hope to see lots of meath fans down in limerick Saturday Night. Last Time we Played Meath was in the National League over 3 yrs ago.It finished Level. Spoke with lots of meath after the Game and we a good laugh.

Looking forward to the Game should be a close one and it is hard to call.
Some Pundits are calling this the one of the Games of the round.

I have no Doubt you will outnumber us as the Limerick Footballers get very poor Support.

Safe Driving and may the best Team Win

I hope there's a big crowd down in Limerick. Get behind the lads and get the atmosphere back at Meath matches.

I don't know why you're coming on a Meath board posting messages. i haven't spoken to or seen one message from a Meath fan that reckons we'll have it handy. And your logic that Limerck nearly beat Cork and Cork beat Kerry so Limerick must be as good as Kerry is childish at best. Any Meath fan I've spoken to hav the utmost respect for Limerick and know they'll give us a very good hard fought match.
Think you should be more worried about that team of yours. Have they learned to play football yet or is it going to be more auditions for Fight Club 2!!!!!!!!!!!!! Won't matter come Saturday evening when they're knocked out

Flying over from Birmingham to Shannon for the game. Really looking forward to it. Always try to get to as many Meath games as possible. Disappointing to read a few posts here with people who cant be bothered with travelling to support their county. I think some even alluded that the hard-core Meath fans would be listening on LMFM. What dedication, eh!

Well if you cant get your collective behinds to Limerick you could go to Croker to give some vocal support to our Minor side in the Leinster final.

Should be a good weekend all the same, C'Mon The Royals!!

For those of you travelling to Limerick Saturday night, the Woodfield House is a good spot before the game - straight across from the Gaelic Grounds. There isn't any other pubs around the Ennis Road grounds.
After the game, Peter Clohessy's pub is probably the best. On the way back from the match towards town, you will see it on the far side of the river Shannon - about 15-20 minutes walk from the pitch. Nancy Blakes and Jerry Flannery's are farther than this and tend to be very packed. Whoever is staying in the Kilmurray Lodge is miles from the ground. Nice hotel but, it is on the Dunlin Road side of the city. The Hilton (new hotel and rooms supposed to be cheap), Greenhills, Travel lodge or any of the many B&B's on the Ennis Road would be a better bet.
Hope we give Meath a good game. Not a lot expected of this Limerick football team down here even though every lad selected by Mickey Ned is able to play and they are all good strong athletes so it won't be soft. Meath should have too much football for them though.
Being honest, they'll be lucky if 800 Limerick people go to it. Limerick GAA is on a serious downer after last weekend.
In a ground that can take over 48,000, the atmosphere might be strange if Meath don't travel in big numbers!

Stay away from Clohesseys all ruggers you wont even meet a fella in there who knows the game is on.
Clem Smiths (former Limerick hurler) on the dock road is the best GAA pub in the area great craic in there too.
Will be there myself please god. You wont see many of us I'd say.
Nancy's is a good spot alright close to the night club aswell.
Angel Lane is the new night club in Limerick so that's where the crowd will be headed, nice spot, they were stopping going in with Jerseys on after the Limerick game so it could be a similar story this weekend.

As for before the match the Woodfield is your only man. Big spot and anyone heading to the match will be there.

Enjoy Limerick lads tis a great oul spot for the drinking.

Cheers for the info Limerick supporters. Looking forward to the game now. Reckon it'll be a tight game and will be won or lost in the last 10 minutes.
