With Real Madrid exiting the Champions League after spending a huge amount on bringing in the Best players in the World and With the final in Madrid in May,I foresee a mass exodus out of the City when Barcelona roll into town to play an English Club in the Final and I wouldn't bet against it being Man U how sick will Ronaldo feel? .

I thought Ronaldo played very well for Madrid.

The quarter finals will be an open draw so realistically any 2 from 8 could make it there. United could draw Chelsea, or Barca, which would elimiate one big side from proceedings, but at this stage if you want to be the best you have to beat the best.

no one claimes higuain was the best in the world. or kaka at present. a lot do with ronaldo. on the biggest stage of all, one of the supposed best players in the world couldnt take the game by the scruff of the neck and drag madrid through when it really counted. 6 years they havnt got by the last 16 for all the money they've spent. pathetic.

I'd say he watched it with his eyes closed so he wouldnt have to watch Ronaldo beat players and set up chances, score an important goal in an important match, and generally do all he could for his team.

If Higuain had passed the ball into an empty net and squared it to Ronaldo the time Lloris made the save, Ronaldo and Real would have coasted through. It'd hardly have mattered as he'd still be on here today spouting the same rubbish

'the donkey' was the only one that turned up. higuain had a stinker, missed an open goal and shot when he should have crossed. It amazes me how kaka, who has been playing very poorly, escapes all questioning, and ronaldo, who was playing lyon on his own, gets slated. Some people really dont have a clue

Yeah there was one outrageous dive alrite.Even the most one-eyed Ronaldo hater could see he could not have done more last nite.Scored,created chances,watched Higuain and Kaka fail to ignite the game,Higuain in particular was laughable.Useless.Kaka the great white dope.

he's rated by many as the best in the world. yet when push cames to shove he couldnt pull madrid through. how many of the true greats through-out the years not only played well, but single handedly dragged their team through when needed. ronaldo will never be a great player. he will never grab the game by the scruff of the neck, control and dictate it.

master. if the spanish league ended today barca would be crowned champions as its head to head thats counted in spain, if the points are level. madrid and forever in barca's shadow. it kills madrid fans that barca are successful playing the football they would love their team to be able to play at the same standard

what united lads were giving out?? ronaldo is one of the best in the world and to top it all of he has now proven himself in the two best leagues in europe. kaka needs to get his finger out or he'l go down as a flop. ronaldo played a huge part in dragging madrid back from 2 goals down at the weekend and he nearly got them through last night.
