Here's hoping for a speedy recovery

(Oldest Posts First)

Just read about Tony Keady and his battle with a sudden illness.
Don't pretend to know him but know of his service to Galway hurling and hope he can make a full recovery.

Out of a great team, he was one of the stand out players. A legend in his own time.
Thoughts and prayers with him and his family.

One of the finest defenders I ever had the privilege to see. Finnerty, Keady, McInerney...what a line they were.
Good luck to him, fingers crossed he's back on his feet soon.

When I first started getting interested in hurling as a kid that Galway team were at the top of the tree and Keady was a stellar centre back on a brilliant half back line. Teak tough. Thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
