All Ireland Junior championship

Meath won the Leinster today in a pretty poor game. I then checked to see who we have in the semi and seen that Ulster has no competition and we play the winner of the British section pretty awful. Also in Meath the rule is that if you play senior for your club you can't play Junior county. Is this just a Meath rule or is it a competition rule ? Seems very strange for a competition to have different rules for different counties

Of course it is strange that there isn't a centralised rule around it but you shouldn't have mentioned it - you'll kick off a war. Just accept that while some counties seem to apply a bit of common sense in their approach others seem to set theirs up at a win at all cost type of mentality.

It was like a blitz I was at with U8s the other day where the clubs give advance notice of how many teams they'd be putting in and at what age i.e. P3 or P4. Yet come the last game in our clubs P3 set of games they are up against another team who declared as P3 but turns out they are pretty much all a P4 team - and a big P4 team at that. You just need to accept that there are these type of people out there in the world.
