With Dublin now in decline and in period of transition. MDMA out for season. Diarmuid Connolly now looking at 3 month ban. Flynn, Brogan and O'Sullivan in decline. Mayo short of forwards and haven't beaten Kerry in 21 years. Tyrone and Donegal in transition. Monaghan never perform in Croke Park. Can Kerry be stopped??They won league final despite missing 4/5 key players. Newcomers Jack Barry, Ronan Shanahan and Jack Savage are huge additions. Their season will be geared to AI semi final and Mayo and AI final against Tyrone/Donegal. Kerry look unstoppable and I cant see anybody catching them. Quarter past midnight is a bit late to be out fishing! How's the state of the game in your quadrant of the region? legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7891 - 04/06/2017 08:07:30 1994232 Link 1 |
Kerry are on odds favourites. Dublin key players are out of form and Connolly and MDMA are gone for season

Ha Dublin are 6/4, Kerry are 11/4. That's a bit more open than last year. Still Dublin are the team to beat. Whammo86 (Antrim) - Posts: 4247 - 04/06/2017 11:45:09 1994302 Link 0 |
This thread is classic deflection to take away from what Connolly did last night. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 04/06/2017 12:52:51 1994356 Link 0 |

Yup. Mayo will knock them out. It'll be a right sucker punch too. Jackeen (Dublin) - Posts: 4097 - 04/06/2017 14:19:11 1994420 Link 0 |
Good shout, it could well be Mayos year. I dont think it will be Dublin this year sadly. The stars have aligned against us and with the young players being given their opportunity i think this may be a transitional period for the Jacks. Kerry of Mayo for me this year or a ringer maybe. We're also in transition Jim. we've just lost Marc o'sé Aidan o'mahony and gooch cooper . In reality we've been in constant state of transition since 09. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 04/06/2017 14:58:36 1994450 Link 0 |

Have to agree - I think the winner of Kerry v Mayo will win it out this year. If not v Dublin in the final, then I hope Mayo win it out - once and for all.... Only 1 game in but already I have a feeling in my waters that we will run out of luck this year... unfortunately... It will be interesting to see how teams now RESET their plans to play the Dubs and to wind up DC, as he wont be available for most of the Championship, if as expected he gets the 12 week ban....
