Hi Rebel.Og, Murphy played well alright, very good on the ball, all the backs were good in fairness, very disciplined in the tackle. We had 2 lads sent off for 2 yellow cards each. Waterford in Tralee in 2 weeks and then hopefully a meeting with yerselves in the Final.

Great win for Mayo last night and O'Connor with 9 points was the difference. I also though mayo looked fitter than galway especially in extra time it seemed to tell. Galway however will kick themselves....16 wides to 5 for mayo- its like roles reversed.

I was impressed with the Galway full back and number 13. Anybody know who they are? I landed in late and had no program.

So it's Sligo v Leitrim and Mayo v Roscommon next Wednesday in the Connnacht semi-finals,as the Rossies hope to continue their recent domination of the visitors at this level. We have knocked Mayo out the last 2 years running,Ray Dempsey will not want it to be 3-in-a-row for him and his management team. Extra time will have brought on Mayo and it promises to be a tough game in Kiltoom.
Roscommon have had a poor pre-season and the huge loss of Shane Layden and Daniel Qualter to the Irish U-20 rugby team from the Minor team of 3 years ago mite make this too steep a hurdle for the lads.

If only Ros' underage teams didn't forget how to play football when they reach senior level.

As ever hilarious Killer. I wouldn't use losing Shane Layden and Daniel Qualter to rugby as excuse afterall these guys are gone for a few years now. Injuries has been our problem thankfully they are clearing up now & Dineen has stronger squad to choose from. 80mins of competitive football will bring on Mayo but we are at home next Wed & certainly have enough talent to beat Mayo for the 3rd year running & hopefully with a bit of luck we do!

We've won a Connacht title in the last 2 years same as yourselves and would have turned you over in the Connacht final only for young O'Connor nailing all his frees and O'Donnell bringing on a kamikaze of a defender.

Mayo are the team to beat in Connacht now but i can't see them beating the Ulster champions in the semi final.

So Roscommon would've beat Mayo last year if they hadn't fouled so much in front of goal. That's on a par with the "if we scored more we'd have won" type of argument, fascinating logic.

Roscommon v Mayo the pick of the bunch tonight we have beat Mayo at this level two years in a row while Mayo knocked out the All Ireland champions last weekend a real 50/50 game hopefully with a bit of luck we pull off another win.
