1351192 Heard chat on Highland radio that the flight costs of the team was
covered under an sponsorship deal with either Carrickfin airport or
an airline operating out of there. Not sure of the full details, as I
just caught the tail end of it.

Fair enough Gary, still a wild waste of money though!

come on will ye, we want our sport to be recognised and get tv coverage , but a team that won the allireland shouldnt get a flight sponsored to take team to a match.

If you subtract the cost of travelling by coach which would include coach hire & at least one night stay for up to 30 people, then the cost would not be that great.

sorry muckross that seemed to come out wrong,

I was questioning gate keepers logic,

They should fly down, why not they are allireland champions .
If they cant at least get that as a bit of a perk.

Muckhead I should have said if Dublin play the same team that played against Kildare then they would win by 6+, well done again to Tyrone on a well deserved victory.

But what about all the ''talent'' Dublin have?

Its funny how TheGateKeeper tune about Donegal have changed. Only a few months ago he was all about them and he;s not. If they stay in the championship longer then Tyrone again this year i wonder what his view will be...

Quick fire question and I understand this scenario is highly unlikely , I just want to know if its possible.

Say Mayo beat Donegal and Cork and Kerry happen to beat Cork next weekend , would that mean Mayo would qualify for semis.

Oh and Dublin beat Down.

stop worrying about dublin, this obsession you have with anything to do with
dublin is unhealthy,i know it must be hard for you but let it go.
why dont you worry about your own team?

I've read that the priority goes to the side with the better head to head record. In the scenario you've described, Mayo, Cork and (if they beat Dublin in the final week) Donegal would all be on 6 points. Mayo would have beaten Cork and Donegal, so they would be in the semis.

Well paddy power must think its beyond odds .I know its an outside chance but still not an impossibility .I reckon we could go hell for leather nxt Sunday and manage a win against Donegal .I see Jim is making noise already about how important it is for the dunnys to take two points against Mayo.

Funny the last few weeks everyone has been saying Kerry dont have any talent wile the Dubs have been telling us about all of theres didnt see too much of it on show at the weekend. But sure just ignore that. In fact i suppose that was everyone else hyping them up too was it?

There we go again the your have an obsession with Dublin, likei said before i simply dont rate them. Its also funny in thr RIP Kerry football thread most of the posters are from dublin in fact any chance there is to run down a county the Dubs dont like they do it yet there no problem with that just when its done to them whys that?

what happened last night very bad display by your lads poor scoreline also ???

Not one of the classics I concede, but keep remembering the championship is eight weeks away. Everything we do is centered on that.

I would also have to say that Donegal like Tyrone are more than prepared to win a championship ugly if that is the way it has to be done. The league is preparation, nothing more.
If you were talking to Jim Gavin, Mickey Harte et al they will say the same thing.

no problem was'nt a sly dig just curious, its all preparation wont be long before were up in your neck of the woods should be a good clash but thats another topic for later :-~)

Just saw highlights of Cork Donegal game , firstly gutted for Colm O Neill ,sport can be unforgiven ,hope he gets back ASAP
Very impressed with Corks scoring from distance punished Donegals defence with some very accurate play , Cork keeper had a good game and like a lot of results game could have gone either way .
