Gammy it was you who initially felt it worthwhile to inform us that "the vast majority of the panel wouldn't make it to the Senior Squad". Your more recent post shows that you now understand that issue is neither important or practical, so what was the point of your original statement.

10 years would be an average time span for a player to be part of a County Senior Squad, givien a Squad of 30 that would require "an average" of 3 players coming through every year. That is why I stated that 4 or 5 would be an exceptionally good harvest in any year. Obviously lads develop at a different pace and injuries also play a part, so they wont all be coming on together.

Gammy just wanted to look for the negative.

He made a rather poor call tipping Cork to win by 9 points. I could elaborate that point further but sure it is what it is... poor.

Instead of just going "Ah well I was way off.. congrats to the Dubs"

He comes out with the above statment about Aussie rules selection as being a bench mark for proving ones worth...

Seriously? Suck it up Gammy...

Mark Shutte. Plays with the Dublin under 21's. Surely he's not under 21? Chap looks like he's in his early thirties if not more!

Gammy, reveal your loyalties, must be very frail, do you suffer from an inferiority complex?

getting a call into the dublin senior panel means damn all really unless you are able to command a position on the starting 15 come championship time or get called into the panel of 26.............. all squad players above 26 on the dublin panel are going to struggle to make a break through particularly when you have players coming of a conveyor belt such as dublin have.................i couldn't really see any of this years crop pushing any of the established players on the dublin senior team out........a few might make the panel with kilkenny the only one you would take to make the 26...... but none not even kilkenny will walk onto the starting 15 come the championship

It was me who said that gammy, reason being is that you come across as an argumentive bitter little child so therefore its totally relevant, now grow up and enjoy the games instead of using them as an avenue to vent your profound insecurities, were you forced to go to USA because of these worrying traits?

People saying Kilkenny didn't play well, I don't agree ok he didn't score loads but he won nearly every ball into him and set up a lot. He can't shoot the lights out every game he's only 18.
