Louth will wallop pitiful Meath next week and send them to Division 3 on their own turf. Was talking to a Meath legend during the week and he reckons Wicklow will beat them 1st round of Leinster. I was amazed some of the stuff he had to say.

So who was the Meath legend then? Surprised that you would demean yourself so much as to speak to a Meath man about football

Louth wont wallop Meath - much as I'd love it - Tyrone are just very good. Tyrone could have had 10 points over Louth last week but for a bit of luck on our side and a bit of foot off the gas syndrome. As for Meath - be wary of the wounded dog.

That's not correct to say "Tyrone could have had 10 points over Louth last week but for a bit of luck on our side and a bit of foot off the gas syndrome".

Its three weeks ago since Louth played Tyrone, with Tyrone winning on a scoreline of Louth 0-13 2-13 Tyrone.

Louth had Paddy Keenan dismissed mid way through the second half of that game following a second yellow card offence, Louth played with 14 men and I don't recall any luck going our way, perhaps you can remind me what luck we got.

I don't recall Tyrone taking their foot off the gas either, some will say they had a better side out against Louth than the one which played tonight against Meath, I wouldn't fully subscribe to that as Tyrone are a county who possess great strength in depth amongst it's players.

Meath by all accounts would appear to be a poor enough side and Louth might just capitalize on that and send them packing down into division 3.
What would be a more sweeter way to end your league 2 campaign.

Squid at least when we get a hammering we won't make half assed excuses about it and try to make a pitiful performance into something justifiable

fair play to mickey harte he just gets on with his job and seems to be rebuilding a handy team that is getting into a good winning habit

Top prize for brass neck effrontery goes to this gentleman who came onto the Tyrone website with the first two posts prior to the game last night. The third post is the most he could muster for what most people would consider an embarrassing and shameful gaffe.

1135379 Tyrone now putting out a second string. Very very unfair on the other teams in the division.

Tyrone put out a statement that they would "Play Fair" for the final 2 rounds but now the put out their subs. What happened to play fair.

Very strong division 2 would you stop. Take Tyrone and Kildare out of it and the rest are rubbish.

In fairness at the start of the year it looked strong but now, from what i've seen, it doesn't look like any of the other 6 teams will make any sort of an impact on the Championship this year.

Whatever about Meath Louth only drew against Derry so you are inno great shakes. Hopefully we are underdogs coming into the game against Wicklow that would suit Meath lovely.

Facts are even if louth beat meath. They more than likely will stay in div 1 if both wmeath and monaghan loose.
As for who is getting promoted in div 2. Kildare in pole position but galway will fancy win and promotion on home turf.

As for georgelee we in meath are well use to his stupidity. He is a harmless fellow really. Not full deck of cards if you get my meaning. As for squid he's just pathetic he was posting scores every where. Sad really

I don't think any Louth man considers us as All-Ireland contenders etc but in fairness staying in Division 2 is quite an achievement and is a sign of progress in the right direction!! Poor record against Meath but now is as good a time as any to put that right!! On another note i would not be surprised to see Kildare or Tyrone in the latter stages this year competing for Sam!

To be honest if tyrone keep going they way they are, nothing and no one will stop them. Even at this early stage tyrone are very serious contenders. I don't see kildare as same certainly not for sam maybe leinster depending on dublins attitude. But sam is between dublin tyrone kerry and cork. Easily the top 4 teams in country by a mile
