In fairness mike, tyronetim was not crowing. Quite realistic as it happened.

fair play to cavan again fully deseved the more committed team. end of the road for this current tyrone management set up have not got this group of players anywhere near their full potential. cavan adopted the exact same tactics as last year and the tyrone set up played the same nonesense they tried last year i suppose its hard to teach old dogs new tricks.

hurlingdub - my post was aimed at tyronelegend not tyronetim he knew like everyone that finals are rarely onesided!

Bold prediction. Looks like you badly underestimated the Cavan men. Congrats to them, back to back Ulster U21 is a fine achievement. As for my own county, great win over the Kingdom in a cracking match last night. Ref was very poor for both teams but it was a very entertaining match.

Well done Cavan..3 Ulster Finals in a row and winning two of them.
Tyrone from U-15 development squads play with method the whole way up to minor and it shows with Team and Work ethic central. I think we have lost that continuity in the key years between being Youth Starts to U-21's on the verge of being fully fledged seniors. We used to patent U-21's and it was the cataylst for the the ventual and long overdue AI's. This Tyrone team flattered to deceive useful individuals but never got the fluidity we normally associate with tyrone teams going. Ronan O'Neill's injury is no excuse despite his ability.

Cavan fans ONE Tyrone fan give it the Largesse yesterday and was put right by Brend and myself.

Thanks Hurlingdub for actually following and reading the thread.
Bennybunny - have you managed to mangle me and "Tyronelegend" into one..well we've seen this type of thing before unfortunately.

Sexton scored the penalty I think - first minute first attack

I apologise. I obviously meant TyroneLegend given that he is who I quoted. I don't know why I put you name in. Sorry again. Hard luck last night (I realize you are a genuine supporter and were not spouting the gibberish that Tyronelegend was before the game). It is not if Tyrone football is in a poor state anyway. You, in general, have had a very positive start to 2012.

You have to laugh at how excited Cavan people get at winning an under 21 Provincial. Face reality your Senior team is a mess and behind teams like Antrim, Fermanagh etc!

Great win last night.

On a side note though, anyone think Cadbury's have shown a fairly low level of interest? Last year we had man of the match awards after each game, video compilations and interviews after the final.. This year we have had none of that. Kraft's involvement I wonder?

It's being behind Mayo that really kills us.

The only thing im laughing at is this sad sad post. Not surprised its from a Mayoman. Yes Cavan senior team is struggling at the moment, but why shouldnt they enjoy their U21 success. Back to back Ulster U21 is a great achievement from a county that has not won too many of them.

Reality is they have got further than Mayo U21 again this year. Well done Cavan, enjoy it.

Cavan should probably scrap playing football altogether at this stage!
Maybe begin afresh playing hurling from scratch or something and see how that goes for them cos with the football it always seems to be fail after fail after humuliating fail!!
