But whether they would have won that year is an impossible question. How many back to backs would they have won if he were alive? Would they possibly have gotten 3 in a row? Would they have avoided the back door in 2005-2008? All impossible questions really. 3 All irlelands was a very good return considering they had no tradition of winning before 03. All important factors for sure, mcanallan's untimely passing in particular must have hit the team hard. I also suspect that the effort required to win an All Ireland with the intensity with which they played must have been very hard to maintain in consecutive years. For whatever reason they never looked the same in the years after they won Sam. Kerry never met them in any of those years and I wonder what the outcome would have been. Who knows as you rightly say. Sums it up really. ... I don't HATE any county. Respect a lot, Dislike some and have time for many. And a poster reserves HATE for any team knocking Kerry off 1st place as they say... My previous point proved without doubt and some Kerry posters believing it to be their God given right to be the top team ALL the time..... Unbelievable. They just can't hack it. Dubs are top for the moment. Won't always be and us Dublin fans know that. Hence why we enjoy these Rare moments of dominance. We don't expect to be No.1 all the time unlike our refined polite and humble friends down in Munster. Fitness and conditioning levels would be a bit better without a doubt but that's about it. Are you honestly saying a Tyrone team with the likes of Jordan Cavanagh mcguigan Dooher O'Neill and Canavan would be embarrassed by Dublin? Ye are good but not that good.
