Unfortunately with the Aussie rules that's they way things are going to pan out. GAA is now as professional as it can be so easy transition to a professional sport - saw the video on HS of Tyrones Conor Mc'kenna playing Aussie rules what a miss he is for them and Kerry will lose Clifford no doubt but that's just the way it is!!! The kid has the talent to be a star for Kerry for years. I'm not sure I've ever seen a footballer so natural off both feet (Maurice, gooch, Mattie forde all included!). He's unselfish too which is unusual for someone who stands out so much at minor level. Yes he's no experience at that level but this a special talent that comes along ever so often. He really does look like he is going to be a superstar, hopefully he stays in Ireland. I can't believe that Kerry would be considering picking him next weekend though. I'm fairly sure the Kerry management team aren't, not only because they can't within the rules, but because it would be a bit desperate and in many ways undermining the importance of the minors, especially with them being on the cusp of breaking records and making further history.
