Last post beyond stunned at the lack of interest over last couple of months with how young blues are doing , seemingly we are only interested in the finished product , the real deal ie the con o Callaghan of the worlds were on earth do lads think these guys come from ? We're do the start out ? I'm off to see the minor footballers hopefully they do the business no vested interested me self other than to one day say I remember seeing him when he was blah blah blah

Brilliant for the young Dubs next up Derry in the semi final hopefully it will be the curtain raiser in three weeks time.

Yeap, it's a double header on the 27th. Can't wait.

Hard to judge with under age.
I was at this years last u21 and thought the future looks bright.

But then again I thought Dean Rock did not seem to justify the hype back in the 2010 final.

So basically I think I can count myself out of judging players?

Minor footballers completely gone under the radar and getting better with every game , think the cream is left , cant wait for double header , regarding judging lads at this level I'm totally useless , convinced McHugh would be doing the business by now just shows

Cheers will write a piece in the next few weeks you may be interested in , basically a little fly on the wall piece , good bad and ugly , we are all aware of the commitments of senior lads , think some would be stunned what teenagers have to give up.

I know we haven't won All Ireland's at minor or under 21 but has there been a more consistent county at getting to semi finals and finals at both grades the last ten years ? Feels like we're always there or thereabouts.

Hard luck today for the minors
cork were deserving winners to be fair but felt our number 14 curry has the makings of a great player, he was central to everything but felt management made a mistake in leaving him on the frees as it wasn't happening and he missed 5 or 6 in a row. They battled all the way just missed too many chances the penalty another example.
felt the ref was very poor and spoiled the game for both teams with majority of trees given for nothing on both sides and the sending off was for nothing aswell hope the card gets rescinded as he poor form for the young guy to miss an all ireland final for that.

Dublin coach Clandillion is not ruthless enough should have taken Currie off frees , Currie has been the best minor all year and normally eats those frees for breakfast, but it wasn't happening that's when the coach has to step in , missed penalty this week and last week at no stage have I seen the Dubs practice them in training ?? Best team won today Turnball the Cork number 14 we just didn't have the answer we put Gannon , O Donnell and Andy Dunphy on him all good players but he had their measure , the frees killed the game as was the case in HQ last week referee swallowing a whistle , the point being having been to numerous challenge matches were refs ref in a particular way but that goes out the window on a the big day absolutely bizarre, great bunch of lads who have given their all for Dublin hurling , never gave up we will see some of them again no doubt

Best of Luck to minor footballers this weekend , would love to see our lads have a cut at Kerry and see how we would handle Clifford.

Our lads seems to run out of steam yesterday.
Derry finished very strongly though.

Our number 11 Doran looks like some prospect. Very impressive scoring from him.

Dissapointing performance as they had the chances when on top to pull away.
first half had a few goal chances and none taken, but second half think it was 12v10 and we had three or four clear point chances we put wide that was crucial as that was the time to kick on and pull away instead it have Derry the confidence and from there in they were the better team.
thaught number 11 was best player but could have laid off the ball earlier on several occasions he took too much out of it. Was surprised archer didn't play till late in the game as he looks impressive at underage.

Disappointed Dublin were beaten game was definitely there for the taking , that said Kerry look a different level altogether, great performance Dublin under 15 winning Foley tournament in Wexford , always a silver lining
