Good performance and a great match. We should have won in normal time but
fair play to Antrim who came back at the end.

Think we could have made subs a little sooner in second half but team was playing
well so it was a tough call

Hopefully we get back on track next week.

Nothing handed out today one way or another. No reason not to go on and win the competition.

Would like to see E. Nolan in at full back. Ger Coady in the half back line and S.Murphy in forwards as I believe we don't have enough pace up front apart from mouse and JD would be better option at midfield IMO.

Terrible result on Saturday. That game should have been closed out in normal time. The line were far too slow to make changes. Such a pity as we had some great subs to come in and see it out for us.
Mayo will be no push over after running a fancied Kildare team very close. Still a great chance to go all the way in this competition but lessons need to the learned.

On a positive note there were some excellent displays. Paul Doyle, Alfie, Seamus Murphy, Denis Murphy, Chris Nolan all excelled.

Not trying to be negative. Team were a joy to watch at times just a pity. Onwards and upwards.

Agree with a lot of that.D.Murphy was magnificent from frees but needs to contribute more in open play imo.

I actually thought he was working very hard on Saturday. Granted he wasn't scoring freely from play but thought his work rate was very good. I thought James Doyle's touch was very sharp but no return on the scoreboard. Could have been moved to the middle of the field and utilised more. Hindsight is such a wonderful thing though.

How are the bodies from Saturday? Have we picked up any injuries? How do we see the team selection going?

Denis Murphy was brilliant on Saturday from open play.

Seamus Murphy is out with a broken hand and Paul Coady is also gone with a hamstring tear. Two big loses.

He scored 0-16, 0-2 from play, won a lot of frees and contributed to a lot more scores.

I'm beginning to think that last week's game may have taken it's toll on the Carlow lad's, from what I gather they were involved in a bruising game with Antrim that went to extra time, they came out on the wrong side of a high scoring game along with that they lost a couple of stalwart players through injury. To pick themselves up and put in a similar performance (or better) against Mayo is a big ask, but hopefully they will do it as they have a point to prove.

Eoin Nolan, is injured, Sean Murphy is playing well with the footballers and Ger Coady is just
back from injury and was on the bench last week.

Good to hear Eoin is back playing, Is he training with the panel ?

I thought Sean Murphy was only playing football this year.

yeah he is supposed to be available to both but heard last night that a certain manager had said no to request for him to play. Hope this is not true as the lad wants to play both whenever feasible. EN is hopeful of getting back if they continue progress in Ring cup. Best of luck to them tomorrow, no second chances anymore.

Eddie Byrne and Jack Murphy are the two changes in attack for todays game.

Did what was needed today. Big gulf in class there, but good score to put up.

Tough test for Carlow against Kildare in the next round. Draw done this evening.
Very surprised Kildare struggled against Mayo last week and lost to Wicklow today. They looked good in the league and I would rather have seen us drawn against Down.

Mayo were poor today and very small for a county team.

Kildare will be a challenge but we should be strong enough for them.

Thought jack Kavanagh and the Eddie Byrne were very good today but
It wasn't much of a match.
