Replying To Damothedub:  "Two things censorship , freedom of the press , we don't half love our rules and blaming people , its hilarious some of the things that have been said about Brolly and others on here , yet we want to curtail freedom of speech on TV , lets be clear if you are not operating in an official capacity there is no governance bar maybe your employer (RTE , INDEPENDENT News etc) that's the way it should be ."
This post sums it up 100% for me

Ridicule is the best governance of the lot in my experience.

Most pundits are so full of themselves they really don't like having the Mickey taken at all at all.

Don't particularly like Brollys brand of analysis however I would stand up for his right to say it without any sanction. RTE commentary is full of cliches and ridiculous generalisations anyway. Have to say SKY are miles ahead.

Bigger point here is that too many within association focus on the negative rather than proactive initiatives. A few years ago a motion go to the floor of congress to ban the huddle! Mother of god.....................everything else must be perfect if this is what they came up with!!
