Interesting final 4 now. Id write off Slaughtniel. They dont have the scoring power or speed to trouble any of the final 4. Id fancy St Thomas's purely because theyve the experience and are coming in under the radar somewhat. Ballyea definately have a chance but can they follow up a first County title and Munster with a first All Ireland. Thats a big ask

Delighted for Cuala, well deserved winners. Great for Dublin hurling but not great for Dublin's league campaign if they keep going!

David Treacy, the 2 Shuttes, Cian O'Callaghan, Oisin Gough, Darragh O'Connell and Jake Malone will be big losses for the start of the league! Wonder who'll take the frees in Treacy's absence considering there's no Paul Ryan any more.

Yep, looks like Mr Cunningham might have to find another free taker if Culla keep playing like that. The pidgeons may be coming home to roost after all the lads leaving or dropped off the panel.Could be bad for the Senior side in the long run.

Probably been asked already but what happens if Slaughtniell get to both finals? Surely with 13 dual players they can't be asked to play both finals on the same day???

Ah now. don't be trying to dig your way out of your prediction :)
Cuala's hurlers were far superior. The only reason the bookies had them slight favs is that they are always wary of KK teams. I think anyone that looked at either line up's before the game would have been reasonably confident Cuala would win
Well done to them by the way. Excellent on the day apart from maybe making a hero out of O'Louhlin's keeper with some poorly directed efforts.
They've an excellent chance now and I'd even put them as slight favourites

Congratulations to Cuala, it was great to see the ruthlessness from the first minute to the last, Kilkennyesq display. However to write of Slaughneill who beat Loughgiel (2013 All Ireland Champions) with ease after an incredible start 2:03 to 0:00!! If they didn't have the gaelic football to contend with through the winter then Slaughneill would definitely be putting it up to Cuala come February. Cuala did a great job on OLG yesterday and should have been 13/14 points ahead after 20 minutes and 32 points ahead at the long whistle, Both Slaughneill and Cuala have started at a blistering pace in their matches to date and none of the opposition has been able to live with either team. If Slaughtneill get the scores early Cuala could well find themselves in a position they haven't been in this year having to come from behind and that may not suit them. Predictions: A great game of hurling with Cuala as slight favourites.

A superb performance from Cuala yesterday. O' Loughlins were never able to match the skills speed and firepower of Cuala. Great win for Dublin hurling. If Cuala had not persisted in fouling so much t half back the shoreline would have been more substantial. Very interesting last 4 left in championship with the Clare boys and St Thomas' being the pick of the semi's. The Clare boys have had the advantage of a few tough games and looked good especially in the last game. Thomas's have the experience and will be very difficult to beat having hammered some teams in Galway earlier in their championship. Would be great to see Slaughtneil in both finals... What a club! Incredible achievement to be champions of their province in football hurling and camogie !

I mean this with the greatest respect but I can't see Cuala not winning they more or less have 15 Dublin senior hurling players. Apart from Con I think the rest are all with the Dublin team.

Con O'Callaghan is some player. We want him to be playing senior intercounty hurling. If Jim Gavin is not planning on making him a central part of his plans, hopefully he will play with the Dubs hurling side.

Don't worry he will be central part of Dublin footballers, who said Gavin won't be giving him his chance? He almost signal handily got the Dublin under 21s to an all ireland semi final this year in football and don't forget cuala hurling manager didn't even select him in the Dublin championship he only brought him in as a sub in the final with 5 or 6 minutes to go so he's had more games with dublin footballers this year than the cuala hurlers

They've 8 players on the 2017 Panel. In addition Colm Cronin, Sean Treacy and I think Simon Timlin too have all played for Dublin in the past.

Thanks. Didn't know that. Fair play to him and best of luck to him.

People on here waxing lyrical about Tony Kelly/Austin Gleeson (with good reason I should add) should add this guy to the list. If he can be that good against a Killkenny team after only 125 minutes of hurling?

Them 3 make 11 and if Con wasn't with the footballers that would be 12 players so more or less as I've said.
