Replying To Shearer:  "A proper championship is one game.....not this league craic........knockout on the day and if your not good enough you go home."
Shearer no, all championships should have the same format.

if all championships knockout then fine.

but its not fair senior/inter/junior get round robin and knockout, while annaghminnon and Junior 2 teams get a knock out only championship and thats it.

Most junior 2 teams are comprised of lads that's half retired & begged to play to try field teams.so they wouldn't be really interested in group stages. If they win the knockout fair enough they'll keep going but if they lose it doesn't really matter.Sure it's only a bit of fun in these competitions....

Replying To pd73:  "Fergal Reel confirmed as the new Ardee St Marys manager

He wanted pats job back but they decided to go for a fresh approach"
wat a load of nonsense, I don't no why people come onto this site & tell pure & utter lies, Fergal Reel was never confirmed as manager & I even asked that it had not been mentioned on radio/club officials, He did meet with Marys & a few other but at no time confirmed he would be manager, Sometimes in life people no more than wat others do & this blatent lies does no good for anyone, in future pd73 get your facts right.

His Dad , He has had experience with his club in Monaghan along , with ourselves , also with a high profile team in Cavan . He has being also involved in various Monaghan underage development squads , a very good guy with no ego, if the rats are to progress have no doubt Mickey will enhance leading it.

John Nearly taking over the Plunketts and Ronan Phillips taking over the Blues. Interesting times in Drawda with a good few clubs getting new managers.

I hate the way people on this forum beat around the bush. Sure you know the lad from Cavan is in training the team in the interim until Colm comes back so why don't you just say so instead of asking stupid questions.
