I think Davy Nelson is a super appointment for pats, They have realised they made a mistake last year & have rectified it fairly rapidly, I think if Davy Nelson can right the wrongs from last year there still a championship or two in the pats, But I no the likes of Ardee, Dreadnots & SOMS have made great strides but the pats are not a bad team over nite, I think it shows there intent for next year, Teams beware, Regards Fergal Reel would be a great appointment for Ardee if true.

totally agree with u & rumour has it that he was looking job back, Fergal done a lot with this bunch & was there for the tragic loss of eamonn carol
which galvanised the club, all I can think of is the club wants a fresh lease of life & maybe a change of style that has been there too the last two years

Good luck to Fergal. He will make St. Mary's very competitive which will be good for Louth football. A Pats v Mary's senior final would draw some crowd and would be a great day out. We never got a Pats/Mattock final but this could be a welcome one
