How many clubs looking for new managers. Its that time of the year again. FBC (Louth) - Posts: 104 - 01/11/2016 20:51:40 1930773 Link 0 |
Depends on finances per club.

Mochtas, Finbarrs, Stabannon, John Mitchels from what I hear, there are probably more. Unless you have an in house club legend that everyone respects and has been away from the squad for a few years then you have no choice only to hire an outside man or else be faced with mutiny and disaster Mesut (Louth) - Posts: 61 - 02/11/2016 08:31:34 1930822 Link 0 |

70 euro a night for training and 50 euro per game is serious money but seems to be the average paid........works out bout roughly 8000 if your season was from early January until october!!! Im sure other clubs have paid less or much more. anyone more info on this? LOUTHBOYO (Louth) - Posts: 216 - 03/11/2016 17:24:01 1931282 Link 1 |

Are Dreadnots changing again, how long has the current management team been in place? Any other Senior clubs changing. The money been spoken about is a lot for small clubs in a small county, one could only imagine the money being paid in the likes of Dublin,Mayo and Kerry to club managers at this rate it is becoming a vocation.

Speaking of new managers, does anyone know of any teams who are actually on the pitch training for next year already? S.M (Louth) - Posts: 90 - 14/11/2016 08:19:35 1934050 Link 0 |

Colm O'Rourke's views on managers in S.I.was interesting. How many clubs in Louth advertised the job? 19616609 (Louth) - Posts: 1596 - 14/11/2016 09:58:08 1934070 Link 0 |
19616609 it is interesting that the last couple of years that clubs have advertised vacancies on social media such as nosebook.

Same as our own Club , St Colmcilles in Meath , eventually this has to take its toll on players . Seen this last year with Ratoath this year , when by winning the Leinster Intermediate competition , they were tired at the end of this years senior campaign . While on the form may I wish Colm Nally best wishes when he takes up his selector role within your county set up , top man and a pure class act , future county manager !

Everyone said that about SOM after they won the leinster in 14, they didn't collapse, they went to the sfc final the nxt year and then went all the way this year and still going. Not having any lads feature prominently with county team has probably helped. If Job and one or two of their main players were playing with county team consistently they may have found it alot harder. If anything, the long seasons have them battle hardened.

It's possible that a lot of Clubs will have 30/35 sessions done before their first meaningful competitive games of 2017. The game to training ratio is not funny anymore. It makes no sense to ask an 18/19 year old club player to be ran like a dog on a Sunday morning all through Winter, Xmas and College exam times. This culture will drive away the social aspect of football. It knocks the fun out of it altogether. S.M (Louth) - Posts: 90 - 20/11/2016 13:53:34 1935559 Link 0 |
