Ballymun v St Vincent's

Ballymuns discipline let them down big time. I have seen them a a few times and some of no suprising with the player getting the black card.

He done the exact same thing as Johnny Copper did in the All Ireland final but the ball was nowhere near them. I knew when the ref went to the linesman it was going to be a black card.
Crazy and all as it is, by the rule book, its a black card.

Poor enough first half.

Very good second.

McCarthy had a couple of good runs at the start of the game, could've got a goal and then Ballymun just went to sleep until the red card.

St Vincent's forwards were very impressive in the second half. Connolly's point off his left from a standing position was some score.

Great to see that sort of crowd at a club game. It was a nice sight at half time seeing the pitch flooded with kids kicking and pucking about.

It was a harsh black card IMO

But no excuses, we lost key lads no doubt but still could have won the game

Things didn't go Ballymun's way but listen hats off to Vincent's, some bloody superb scores and what can you say about DC!

The fecker was brilliant last night but I just cant be angry at the man!

He lightly slapped Murphy on the leg and Murphy collapsed like he had been shot.

He didn't trip or hold onto Murphy at all.

Nothing like Cooper in the All-Ireland final

Pity it was nothing but an inorganic gathering

Stone wall black, tripped him with his hand as he was about to run away and join the attack

Connolly is one of the greats of our time, possibly of all time. I have never, personally, never seen a player with as much going for him as he does. He has all the skill, with a bit of bowsie-ness thrown in. It's disappointing to see that spill over, but his footballing ability cannot be questioned.

I'd love to have seen Seamus Moynihan in his prime go one-to-one with Connolly. There would have been sparks!

I know a Roscommon man who travels around following Galway and Portumna, just to watch Canning. Connolly is in that mould. Hopefully, I'll get to the Dublin final......I haven't been for a while.

Official Dublin GAA should have highlights up tomorrow of the game... well worth checking out for Connolly's point

Great crowd alrite whammo but i thought it was ridiculous to see the whole pitch covered with hundreds of kids at half time.No way that should be allowed. It cant be good for the surface for the two teams coming back out again for the second half.By all means let the kids out when the game is over.Maybe im being bit harsh here but that was my immediate reaction last night.

straight forward too strong and somewhat arrogant of me possibly but you would expect the winners of our championship to find it easier without portlaois
