Oh ya those cringey interviews with Daithi do wonders for the team. It's a psychological masterstroke that obviously upset the focus of the Dublin players. That post of yours goes into the never ending line of tripe from both sets of supporters in the last couple of weeks. I do have to laugh at how some people think that any of that stuff makes a difference.

Keep your head out of this !! We have a severe dose of reality coming our way in Division 1 of the league. We will be playing the "Poor Me" card.

If the GAA was really fair there wouldn't be club players from a club in Roscommon playing for Mayo. Could you imagine if Dublin picked players from club sides as far out as Maynooth. Neil Flynn and Con O' Callaghan in the same team - yes please. TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4445 - 27/09/2016 12:10:23 1919598 Link 0 |
Sure the majority of your scorers the last day were from Mayo and Meath :)

nobody is saying it made any difference to the players again show me wehre i said that??????? the posters talking about making things fairer for mayo like a home game is it wrong to point out facts of what happened on all ireland final day for those that werent in croke park? or are we only allowed do that when its making dublin look like the home team? hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 27/09/2016 13:53:05 1919639 Link 0 |

How is former NFL player roberto wallace a local mayo celebrity if he is American" janesboro (Limerick) - Posts: 1502 - 27/09/2016 16:16:02 1919742 Link 0 |
and "Is there anything to be said for saying another mass" won't help us. Even Joe Brolly's tactic of, 2 rosaries a day between now and the first game, won't improve things !! FrDougalMaguire (Cavan) - Posts: 152 - 27/09/2016 16:58:37 1919768 Link 0 |
I'm going to go out on a limb here Janes and say that he meant the he was a celebrity in the local's eyes, which indeed he seemed to be. But NOT a celebrity from the locality, which I think is the way you interpreted it.

I'm not exactly sure how Mayo got drawn into this discussion. We didn't start the thread, contributed very little to it, haven't whinged about anything and still come out as the villains. Some lads would pick a fight with their jackets!

Or if Dublin were to say use a player from a far far far away county, say Leitrim??

Jeez will people get over Fr. Ted!! Fr.Ted usernames etc. If i hear another 'is there anything to be said for another mass?', 'Careful now!', 'Down with that sort of thing!' i'll lose it! There have been other comedies on tv, and far better ones. Every attempt at humour has to be accompanied with a Fr. Ted quote or pic. Will someone give me an 'Allo Allo' one for a bit of novelty?! 'That would be an ecumenical matter', Cyril Farrell looking like Fargo Boyle, Bishop Brennan getting kicked up the ar*e, the over 75s football competition, Graham Norton as Fr. Noel Furlong doing Riverdance in the caravan, lovely bottoms etc, etc, funny at the time but worn out now. Laois76 (Laois) - Posts: 1270 - 27/09/2016 21:50:17 1919914 Link 3 |

Where did I say mayo started the thread? All I said was I didn't start the thread and pointed out for those that weren't in croke park that it more a feel of a mayo home game than a Dublin one by showing what happened on the day. Fail to see where I slated mayo for anything hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 27/09/2016 22:08:26 1919930 Link 0 |
