I'm sure a lot of farmers earn far more than me, plenty of unemployment in dublin."
You would have to ask mayo county board, off course Every other county ground in Ireland has standing in it, not just croker. Not everyone in rural Ireland is a farmer and those who are 70 percent of them are not making a wage, and the 30 percent who are i doubt to many of them are in the west.

that's fine fair play to you but why do you and the others choose not to go to the hill then for all ireland quarter finals, semi finals or league semi finals or league finals or qualifiers when te are playing in croker??"
The nally was full with tryone, mayo and Donegal people for the quarter final I was there myself.

Boycotting a game over this is quite pathetic because of a perceived injustice. Ironic really that Charles Boycott was a landlord agent in Mayo who was shunned for not giving a reduction in rent when crops failed. But here perspective is everything

I'm making a point and undoubtedly country music is far more popular outside of Dublin, use your head would u.

Replying To ROS1:  "Do you think everyone from Dublin was a genuine true blue. Every county will have a bandwagon element when the are doing well and unfortunately these are the type of people through connections will get tickets ahead of genuine supporters."
Seriously you got to listen to the points in making. Of course every county has a bandwagon element, I'm not talking about that at all, the fact is most on here are high and mighty about club people getting the tickets but the Dublin clubs are being shafted when it comes to that. I keep telling people in here that a club is the worst place in dublin to get a ticket. Its all well and good in the country where you have nearly as many tickets per club as member's and then you have the other counties who hand them over to mayo, why do they keep getting tickets id they don't use them in these counties surely the Dublin club membership should count when comes to ticket demands. There was 57thousand tickets for Dublin for semi final and only 15thousand for final that's a massive drop. The gaa allocate funding based on the club demand in terms of size and membership it needs to cater for, surely the ticketing allocations should work similiar. If Dublin played leitrim in an all Ireland final do you really think it fair that leitrim could all but have a ticket for every man women and child that's a resident of the county despite having no interest possibly in the gaa until a final while Dublin would still get the same number only.

but you only seem to want fairness when it suits dublin...you want dublin to be catered for over other counties

but show evidence instead of making generalisations?..you are resorting to calling mayo fans garth brooks fans now just because another county has the audacity to go to the hill

its apparent in any point you make..you have 0 objectivity and ignore the fact that mayo fans integrate themselves in the club scene of counties outside their own compared to dubs which is a major reason for why they have been able to source tickets....maybe if some dubs living down the country actually bothered to go to club football instead of following dublin like a brand then they would have more tickets

yes but there is still way way way way more employment in dublin than anywhere else..why do you think so many people from the country work there...like why have u resorted to talking about mortgages when discussing people from the country..you are completely belittling them and being very disrespectful of whats involved in travelling from mayo to dublin..a cheaper ticket is a welcome bonus for most people especially younger people..and should be available to all counties
