Replying To TirChonaillabu2:  "Jim put that story to bed today on sky, said it was all bs. all anybody had to do was ring him to check if the story was true, but of course Rte ran with the story, it was started by Carney so he should explain why he was spinning lies."
David Brady heard it was true too until someone text him on Off the Ball confirming it wasn't true.Silly rumour to be started.

Clearly not suggesting anyone to be sent off for holding their face. Idiotic conclusion to get from my post.

My point is about reputations anyway. Certain players enjoy the benefit of the doubt at every turn, others are immediately villains.

My sincere apologies for misreading your post. It was so fiendishly crafted it slipped right past my feeble intellect. When you get time you might explain it in detail, preferably in monosyllables, for the uninitiated.

Yeah very clever. The points are there to discuss if you want to.

I don't think there are any points to be discussed to be honest. Your in depth analysis on yesterdays game seems to consist of, a Mayo forward getting preferential treatment, suggesting the only black cards doled out yesterday should have been to Mayo and Cillian O Connor being responsible for McCauleys clothes line tackle. I'm sensing a pattern here that doesn't lend itself to any meaningful discussion.

You've still missed my point but fair enough. Just don't reply then, rather than snarky, un-constructive comments. There's a pattern of you doing it on several threads today.

I hope he's not commentating next day"
He was an embarrasement yesterday in the commentary, all you want from commentary is objective & neutral commentary. He was nothing short of a cheerleader for Mayo & kept talking over Ger Canning. He is a very poor analyst at the best of times & it beggars belief that RTE persist with him when so many complain about him. In my opinion no commentator or analyst whose county is competing should be on the panels, there are plenty of talented people from different counties.

He's embarrassing. When he came out with his 'Dublin are untypically supine today' comment i nearly fell around laughing. Does he think he's commentating on the Oxford/Cambridge boat race or something. I know we have loads of clichés in the game and sometimes a few novel phrases are nice to hear but using language like that is ridiculous. He's to add a few bits of explanation of what's going on in the game for the ordinary person tuning in at home not bring his thesaurus with him.
