Mayo name an unchanged team from the first game. Keith Higgins makes 125th apperance in this day an age that is some achievement. TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4445 - 30/09/2016 14:29:10 1920895 Link 0 |
are any bookies quoting a price for Michael Darragh McCauley actually kicking a ball this time. Can any Dublin fan tell me when was the last time they saw him put boot to ball in a match. I have only seen him handpass in both the semi-final and drawn final s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5518 - 30/09/2016 19:56:32 1920960 Link 0 |

Shur he hasn't kicked a ball yet since he started playing! I doubt too many dubs want to see him kicking it either! I'd be shocked if he starts tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 01/10/2016 11:01:27 1921044 Link 0 |
Can anyone tell me why Gavin won't shove Connolly into full forward for a while? Keegan panicked everytime the ball went in there in the semi final. tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 01/10/2016 11:05:09 1921045 Link 0 |
Didn't he open the scoring for Mayo the last day?!

Mayo to edge it. MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts: 13710 - 01/10/2016 11:47:25 1921052 Link 0 |
MacAuley will play. He is a true end to end player. He gets credit for at least 3 of Dublins scores the last day. Fed Fenton for the og. Fed Rock for his score from play and won the free before ht which put the Dubs 5 up. So what if he doesn't kick very often? How many midfielders do? He is imo a better kicker of the ball than either Sheami or Parsons.

He's named to start there I think. That may or may not happen of course. Wouldn't do any harm to try it for 15 minutes.. Dubh_linn (Dublin) - Posts: 2312 - 01/10/2016 12:27:41 1921063 Link 0 |
Ah he's named there all year I think but doesn't play there It's defintely worth a go tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 01/10/2016 13:04:47 1921067 Link 0 |
Ah now come on! I'm a big fan of the way Dublin play football and McCauley can be extremely effective and you're right so what if he doesn't kick it but to say he's a better kicker of a ball than any player togged out off either panel today is ludicrous

Best of luck to both teams please god the winner doesn't come from a bad decision or red card, up the dubs. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 01/10/2016 13:21:01 1921070 Link 1 |
Hopefully a good game of football, last one was terrible yet very exciting, so hopefully exciting and good football. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 01/10/2016 13:43:28 1921073 Link 0 |
It is looking like Dublin for me- unless Mayo can get a few goals. Dublin will score lots of points and if they get an early goal they could run away with it and win by a 6 or 7 points. Mayo need the first score and also the first goal. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2519 - 01/10/2016 13:56:20 1921078 Link 0 |
The football may not have been top quality the first day but it was tight and tense throughout and produced a great finish. Hopefully we get a good game today, conditions are good so fingers crossed, can't wait for this one. Htaem (Meath) - Posts: 8657 - 01/10/2016 14:01:59 1921080 Link 0 |
